As a Customer Care Assistant, you will help ensure every customer receives top-notch service in a clean, well-organized, and welcoming store environment. You'll play a key role in both customer interaction and the day-to-day running of the store.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Retail experience
- Clear credit record
- Clear criminal record
Key Functions:
Customer Care
- Welcome every customer warmly with a smile and helpful attitude.
- Create a positive and friendly shopping environment.
- Handle customer questions and complaints professionally.
- Carry out markdowns, promotions, and merchandising based on Head Office instructions.
Merchandising
- Unpack and display new stock neatly and on time.
- Ensure all items on the shop floor are correctly priced.
- Dress mannequins and maintain attractive displays on tables and shelves.
- Keep all garments — folded or hanging — neat, clean, and properly labelled.
- Accurately merchandise promotional and markdown items with the right signage.
Store Administration & Maintenance
- Assist with basic store admin and daily operations alongside management.
- Stay alert to help prevent stock losses.
- Attend morning briefings and complete assigned daily tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store — floors, mirrors, changerooms, display units, and counters.
