The School seeks to employ a dedicated individual to coordinate and lecture on modules in Higher Education Studies at the postgraduate level, supervise postgraduate students, and academically lead the School’s Work-integrated Learning (WIL), including academic leadership in the WIL Hub. This position requires an academic who is willing to engage with curriculum development and delivery, and who will play a leading role in WIL, as well as teaching and research in the Higher Education Studies sub-discipline

The incumbent will report to the Head of Department.

Minimum requirements

A Doctoral degree in Higher Education Studies or in relevant discipline
Three (3) years working experience in either Teaching, Lecturing, Research or Industry (in the relevant field or discipline).
Evidence of current and sustained research publication record in quality scientific journals (5 - 10), appropriate for the level.
A track record of successful supervision of postgraduate students at Masters and/or PhD level appropriate for the level
