We are looking for an experienced and reliable Baker to join our retail bakery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Bake a variety of products from scratch.
- Accurately follow and maintain standard recipes.
- Prepare breads, pastries, cakes and other bakery/confectionery products.
- Maintain consistent product quality, presentation and freshness.
- Be creative and adapt products based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety.
- Manage baking production efficiently to meet daily sales requirements.
- Minimise wastage and ensure proper stock rotation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker.
- Ability to bake from scratch.
- Strong understanding of baking methods, ingredients and measurements.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a retail team.
Advantageous
- Retail / OK store experience.
- ARCH experience.
- Confectionery experience.
- Experience producing cakes, pastries and other confectionery products.
Pay: R5 500,00 - R11 000,00 per month
