Full Job Description

Johannesburg Full-time (onsite)

A growing property management company is looking for an experienced, hands-on Financial Manager

to take ownership of its finance function and managed property portfolio.

This role requires someone who can work independently, think on their feet and take accountability from start to finish, not simply process transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review and interpret monthly financial statements
Manage budgets, reconciliations, billing and financial reporting
Drive audit preparation and manage the audit process
Oversee debtors, debt collection and financial controls
Manage SARS, CIPC and CSOS-related financial requirements
Oversee the finance administration function
Manage the financial aspects of new property take-ons and handovers
Engage directly with trustees, clients, auditors and other stakeholders
Identify financial risks, investigate discrepancies and recommend solutions
Provide proactive weekly financial reporting to management

What We're Looking For

Relevant Accounting/Financial Management qualification
Minimum 5 years' relevant finance/accounting experience
Proven experience independently managing financial processes
Strong financial statement, reconciliation, audit and reporting capability
Excellent judgement, problem-solving and attention to detail
Confident, professional and client-facing
Strong ownership, initiative and ability to work with limited supervision
Property management / sectional title / HOA accounting experience highly advantageous
Weconnectu experience is required

The Person

You are meticulous, accountable and proactive. You don't wait to be reminded about deadlines, and when you identify a problem, you investigate it and bring solutions. You are comfortable taking ownership of a finance function while remaining hands-on when required.

Salary: R 25 000 – 35 000 CTC, depending on experience and qualifications.
