We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to join our growing Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is passionate about employee relations, HR compliance, and providing exceptional support to both employees and clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering end-to-end HR services while ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities

As the HR Administrator, you will be responsible for:

Drafting employment contracts, HR policies and procedures, disciplinary documentation, performance management documents, and other HR correspondence.
Provide HR advisory services to managers and external clients on employee relations, labour legislation, and HR best practices.
Chair disciplinary hearings and assist with grievance, incapacity, and misconduct processes.
Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, probation management, and offboarding processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR filing systems.
Ensure compliance with the Labour Relations Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Employment Equity Act, and other relevant employment legislation.
Prepare monthly HR reports, recruitment reports, and client billing reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to organisational effectiveness.
Promote company values while delivering professional, high-quality HR services.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or a related qualification.
Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a generalist HR or HR Officer role.
Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management.
Valid driver's licence.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
