This is a varied and rewarding role managing an independent caseload across a broad range of musculoskeletal presentations, from chronic pain and workplace-related conditions to sports injuries and rehabilitation.
You will be supported by an experienced team through peer collaboration, clinical discussion, and supervision, allowing you to focus primarily on delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough musculoskeletal assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment plans using a biopsychosocial approach to care.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy including manual therapy, soft tissue treatment, dry needling, and progressive exercise rehabilitation tailored to individual patient goals and lifestyles.
- Assess and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, including spinal pathologies, joint disorders, tendinopathies, muscle injuries, post-fracture rehabilitation, chronic pain presentations, and overuse syndromes.
- Deliver structured pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, including hip and knee arthroplasty, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and spinal decompression, applying graded rehabilitation principles to support safe return to work, sport, and daily activity.
- Assess and treat recreational and sports-related injuries, providing exercise prescription, load management, injury prevention advice, and return-to-activity support for patients across all activity levels.
- Assess and manage workplace and postural conditions, including cervicogenic headaches, neck and back pain, repetitive strain injuries, and ergonomic-related issues.
- Deliver physiotherapy support to older adults with mobility limitations, balance concerns, degenerative conditions, chronic pain, and post-surgical rehabilitation, including falls prevention and strength and balance programmes.
- Write clear and professional progress reports and clinical correspondence for referring GPs, surgeons, and specialists, ensuring timely and accurate communication across each patient’s care team.
- Educate patients on their condition, rehabilitation, pain management, and home exercise programmes, encouraging long-term self-management, realistic goal setting, and active participation in recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, assist with follow-up bookings and occasional payment collection where required, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic alongside the administrative team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Current registration with the relevant national physiotherapy regulatory body and eligibility to practice at that location
- Minimum 2 years post-graduate clinical experience in a musculoskeletal or general physiotherapy setting
- Confidence and competence treating adult patients across a wide range of clinical presentations
- Sound knowledge of the biopsychosocial model and its practical application in MSK and chronic pain management
- Strong manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and rehabilitation programme design skills
- Experience writing professional clinical charting notes, clinical correspondence with clients, progress reports, specialist letters, and referrals

- The annual salary for this role is $69,000 - $78,000 Bermuda Dollars, which is roughly £1,132,383 - R1,296,497
