Are you a high-energy FMCG sales professional who thrives on winning new business, expanding distribution, and turning every customer call into measurable growth?

The Opportunity

We are looking for a driven Sales Representative to serve as the frontline growth engine of the Company in South Africa. You will take ownership of an assigned territory, grow volume and value sales, secure outstanding outlet execution, and build trusted customer relationships.

Success in this role means maximum distribution, maximum offtake, maximum visibility, and rapid market share gains, delivered with urgency, discipline, and personal accountability.

What You Will Do

Achieve and consistently exceed stretch volume, value, and growth targets across the full the Company portfolio.
Rapidly sell in core and new products, optimise range and pack sizes, and maximise order size, frequency, and mix.
Identify and close new business opportunities, open new outlets, expand existing accounts, and develop high-potential customers.
Expand numeric and weighted distribution, secure listings and preferred shelf positions, and maintain continuous availability of the priority range.
Deliver perfect outlet execution through the right product, quantity, price, placement, promotion, visibility, and stock rotation.
Install, maintain, and optimise coolers, racks, displays, and POS material while meeting planogram and activation standards.
Build trusted customer relationships, negotiate effectively, resolve issues rapidly, and protect company margins and policies.
Plan and execute high-intensity call cycles, maintain route discipline, and use CRM, order entry, and GPS systems accurately.
Execute promotions, sampling, and trade activations, and report accurate competitor and market intelligence.
Maintain real-time sales and customer records, manage credit and collections, submit reports, protect company assets, and support demand forecasting.

What Success Looks Like

100%+ achievement of volume, value, and net sales targets.
Maximum distribution, territory penetration, outlet activation, and route coverage.
Zero permanent out-of-stocks of the core range in active outlets.
100% perfect store / perfect outlet execution and promotion compliance.
Maximum call productivity, strike rate, average order value, customer retention, and collections performance.
Timely, accurate market feedback, strong competitive visibility, and zero policy or ethical breaches.

What You Bring

Matric / Grade 12. A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
Minimum 2-4 years’ proven sales experience in FMCG, beverages, confectionery, culinary and grains, with a strong record of consistently over-achieving targets.
Proven ability to open accounts, expand distribution, and drive rapid volume growth in a competitive South African environment.
Strong negotiation, relationship-building, closing, organisation, self-discipline, and time-management skills.
Computer literacy, including MS Office / Google Workspace, and confidence using mobile CRM / order systems.
A valid Code B driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays when required to maximise results.
High energy, resilience, integrity, professionalism, a competitive spirit, and a genuine hunger to win.

Advantageous Experience

Start-up or high-growth beverage / FMCG environments.
Cooler / equipment placement and trade activation.
Knowledge of the South African beverage competitive landscape.
