About us:
We are a furniture-manufacturing business based in Randburg. We are expanding and looking for a skilled carpenter with spray finishing experience to join our team/work on contract.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and install custom furniture, cabinetry, and joinery
- Prep, sand, prime, and spray paint/lacquer surfaces to a high finish
- Read and work from technical drawings and client briefs
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and spray equipment safely
- Maintain quality and finish standards on all projects
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
1. Minimum 4 years experience in carpentry/joinery
2. Proven experience with spray painting, lacquering, and finishing wood/MDF
3. Proficient with power tools, table saws, routers, spray guns, and compressors
4. Ability to measure accurately and work independently
5. Portfolio/photos of finished work required
6. Own tools/equipment is a plus
