Location: 2 Lascelles Road, Meadowbrook, Edenvale

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 weekdays

Reporting to: Head of Digital Marketing

Job Overview

We are looking for an organised, proactive Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing team with the day-to-day coordination and administration required across a busy multi-brand environment.

This is an ideal role for someone at the beginning of their marketing career who already has some practical workplace experience and wants exposure to a broad range of marketing activities.

The successful candidate will support the Marketing Lead by taking ownership of coordination, administration, follow-ups and routine marketing tasks, helping ensure that projects keep moving and deadlines are not missed.

Own transport required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Marketing Lead.
Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, launches and activations.
Maintain marketing schedules, trackers, calendars and project documentation.
Follow up with internal teams and stakeholders on outstanding information, approvals and deliverables.
Assist with preparing briefs and gathering the information and assets required by Creative and Digital teams.
Coordinate marketing assets, product information, imagery and campaign material.
Assist with presentations, reports and basic marketing documentation.
Assist with organising samples, promotional material and marketing collateral.
Support events, activations and trade marketing projects where required.
Assist with competitor and market research.
Take meeting notes and track agreed actions and deadlines.
Handle routine marketing administration so that senior team members can focus on higher-level marketing activities.
Source and collect quotes, samples, product and other required materials.
Book and confirm print ads, OOH ads and or online ads.

Essential Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, which may include a structured internship, graduate programme, marketing assistant or junior marketing role.
Qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising or a related field is preferred.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Comfortable managing multiple small tasks and following them through to completion.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, particularly PowerPoint/Slides and Excel/Sheets.
Comfortable working with deadlines and following up with people across different departments.
Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media.
