STADIO Higher Education is inviting applications for the position of: Lecturer (accounting, finance and financial management)
This is a full-time fixed-term position for the period until 31 December 2026. The successful candidate will be required to perform all duties associated with a full-time academic appointment and will be expected to work on campus at the Centurion Campus during normal working hours, in accordance with the institution's operational requirements.
Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and academic support in accounting, finance, financial management, and related commerce subjects through a blended contact learning approach, while contributing to curriculum development, research, student success, and the broader academic objectives of the institution.

REQUIREMENTS
Skills and competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to lecture effectively in a blended contact and online learning environment.
Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and Microsoft Teams.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and conflict management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Passion for teaching and student development.
High levels of professionalism, initiative, resilience, and adaptability.
Qualifications and experience
NQF level 8 qualification, preferably specialising in accounting, financial management, finance, or a related commerce discipline.
Experience lecturing in a blended contact and online higher education environment.
Experience using electronic learning management systems (LMS) and video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft teams.
Relevant industry experience in accounting, finance, financial management, or related fields.
Membership of a recognised professional or industry body and/or a relevant professional designation will be advantageous.
