Full Job Description

Graphic Designer & Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join our team and assist with the creation of engaging content for our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, an understanding of social media trends, and the ability to turn ideas into visually appealing graphics and videos.

Key Responsibilities

Create graphics, promotional materials, and visual content for social media platforms.
Edit short-form videos, reels, promotional videos, and other digital content.
Assist with the development of creative content ideas for social media campaigns.
Adapt content to suit different social media platforms and formats.
Ensure all content aligns with the company’s branding and visual identity.
Add captions, text, animations, transitions, music, and other elements to video content where required.
Stay up to date with current social media trends, creative styles, and content formats.
Work closely with the marketing and content team to plan and produce engaging social media content.
Assist with maintaining a consistent and professional look across all social media channels.
Manage multiple content requests while meeting deadlines.

Graphic Design Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, layouts, and visual branding.
Ability to create social media graphics, advertisements, posters, brochures, presentations, banners, and other marketing materials.
Ability to maintain consistent brand identity across different platforms and formats.

Video Editing Skills

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent video-editing software.
Ability to edit short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and websites.
Knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, colour correction, audio editing, subtitles, and basic animation.
Ability to create engaging videos from raw footage, images, music, voiceovers, and other assets.
Experience with filming, lighting, and basic camera equipment is an advantage.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
