Full Job Description

Operations & Client Services Administrator

Christo van Zyl CFP®, an independent financial planner based in Hazelwood, Pretoria, is looking for a professional, organised and proactive Operations & Client Services Administrator to join his growing practice.

The practice provides comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services to individuals, families and businesses.

This is a fast-paced, office-based position suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, following up on outstanding matters and ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, communicate confidently with clients and service providers, and take ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with insurance companies, investment providers, medical schemes, banks and call centres
Follow up on outstanding applications, claims and service requests
Assist clients with administrative enquiries
Prepare, process and manage documentation
Maintain accurate client records and filing systems
Schedule and coordinate client appointments and meetings
Coordinate and monitor outstanding tasks
General office administration and team support
Assist advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day operational tasks
Think independently and solve problems proactively
Deliver exceptional client service at all times

Minimum Requirements

Previous administration experience
Professional verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Professional appearance and manner
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport

Advantageous

Previous experience within the financial services industry
Experience dealing with insurers, investment providers or medical schemes
Knowledge of financial planning administration
