Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on technical equipment and systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to hardware and software, providing timely resolution to maintain system integrity.
- Install and configure new systems, software, and equipment according to established protocols and standards.
- Assist in the setup and support of users, addressing technical queries and providing guidance on system functionalities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures, service records, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements to existing technologies.
- Adhere to safety and compliance protocols while executing technical tasks and maintaining work areas.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a technical support or technician role, with a solid understanding of relevant systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical problems in both hardware and software environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Familiarity with various operating systems, network configurations, and standard software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for on-site visits to client locations or remote sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in a specific industry sector may be beneficial, such as telecommunications, IT, or engineering.
- Additional language proficiency can enhance communication with diverse users.
