Full Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Administrator to join our team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing, maintaining, analysing and reporting operational data. The role requires a candidate who is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and is comfortable working with an automotive monitoring and reporting system.

This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to turn data into meaningful reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Capture, update and maintain accurate operational and production data.
Extract and analyse data from the company's automotive monitoring and reporting system.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management and operational teams.
Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, trackers, dashboards and data reports.
Analyse data and identify trends, variances and areas requiring attention.
Prepare professional reports, documents and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Assist with the preparation of management presentations and performance reports.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of all captured and reported information.
Maintain organised electronic and manual records where required.
Liaise with relevant departments to obtain, verify and consolidate information.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through effective data analysis and reporting.
Assist with ad hoc administrative and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric.
A Diploma or Degree in Administration, Information Management, Data Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field will be advantageous.
Previous experience in a data administration, reporting, manufacturing or automotive environment will be advantageous.
Experience working with monitoring, reporting or ERP systems will be beneficial.

Required Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, pivot tables, lookups and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to work with large volumes of data accurately.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to identify trends and interpret data.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Experience with automotive manufacturing monitoring and reporting systems will be advantageous.
