This role helps ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery and line leadership in manufacturing, by leading a key line of the business (technical, system or organizational) to deliver results defined by the compelling business need of the site. You ensure that key business results are achieved and for developing others to ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery on the manufacturing line. Using a systematic approach, you use strategic thinking skills to ensure results are sustained over the long term.
How you will contribute
In your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International’s safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets. In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members. Without you, we would not be able to deliver high-quality snacks to our customers.

- Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
- Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (break-down maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
- Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 5-6, and PM step 3
- Leading line teams
- Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
- Influencing people in a union environment
- Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail

Purpose
Lead a team to successful delivery of SQCDSM targets of a line or group of lines fully responsible for people, machinery and identification and elimination of losses and problems in the area of responsibility. To grow the capability of the team and to represent the company to the shop floor colleagues in line with the company's values and principles.
Key Responsibilities
In line with the job purpose, key outputs of this job will entail the following:
Health Safety and Environment
- Implement HSE systems on the production line
- Completed QRP, BOS, Safety maps, Risk Assessments, Near Misses, LOTO, Safety Defect Management
- Deliver Safety KPI’s and EPIS
- Reported and Investigated Safety Incidents
Quality
- Implement Quality policies and procedures
- Managed product quality and compliance to quality systems
- Managed GMP, Housekeeping, pest control, sanitation and hygiene index of production lines
- Managed Product and process control processes and completed product/process documentation, including finished product release
Delivery and Cost
- Managed GE – Global Efficiency – Change over management, Stoppages, Preventative Maintenance
- Managed waste – Control material usage and labor variances according to productivity targets
- Managed Schedule & Plan Adherence - Production plan, DBNR, Stock
- levels
- Delivered productivity targets - waste, efficiency and labour
- Managed resources - Material, labour, energy, water
IL6S (CBN)
- Form part of one of the IL6S pillars and lead an SWP within the overlapping structures
- Manage the overlapping structure with line SWP to ensure pillar integration
- Coach and support the SGA on IL6S tools
- Drive and lead AM progression with line teams
People Management

Person Specification:
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:
- Applicants must have a Grade 12.
- National Diploma/Degree Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management/Operations/Production Management/Trade Test -
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- 3-5 years’ experience in production management role
