Job Purpose:

Assisting students and Alumni in navigating their career paths, including providing guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, interview techniques. Connect students to job opportunities and employers by networking and improving relationships with employers.

Networking and improving relationships with employers. Design, and coordinate career preparation activities, and career events for students involving student and graduate empowerment. Communicate career, bursary, and internship opportunities to students. Prepare and facilitate career preparation programs for students.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Networking and building relationships with employers
Providing Grooming Services
Place Graduates with Employers
Support Students in the Workplace
Co-ordination of work-based learning
Employability Skills and internal and external reporting

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Marketing, Sales, HR, Business Admin, Public Relations.

Experience

Min of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role/strong sales background
Advanced computer skills are essential.

Special requirement:

Valid driver’s licence and own car

Key Competencies

Knowledge and understanding of the South African higher education systems and regulatory framework.
Ability to manage time effectively.
Attention to detail.
Customer service orientated.
Ability to effectively cope with change.
Deadline-orientated and can work well under pressure.
Be able to work in a team environment.
Effective communication skills
Overseeing any other general employability activities to ensure the smooth running of all key focus areas
