About the Company

Hudson Auto is one of the fastest-growing automotive workshops in the Eastern Cape,

We are actively expanding our facilities and capacity, including:

Additional workshop ramps at Walmer
Expansion at Newton Park

Our focus is on quality workmanship, brand integrity, and long-term growth. We are committed to developing people, not just filling positions. Over the past 5 years, we have successfully qualified at least 6 mechanics, and we continue to invest in training and upskilling the right individuals.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified or semi-skilled motor mechanic to join our growing team and help increase our workshop capacity.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Takes pride in their work
Wants to grow with a reputable and expanding business
Is serious about building a long-term career in the motor industry

Key Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
Work efficiently to meet workshop targets and turnaround times
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Ensure tools, equipment, and work bays are kept clean and organised
Work as part of a team to uphold workshop quality and brand standards

Requirements

Essential

Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
Good work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for the motor industry

Advantageous (Not Essential)

Qualified motor mechanic or semi-skilled with workshop experience
A few years’ experience in the motor industry
Proven track record in previous workshops

Growth & Development

Opportunity to qualify as a mechanic within 2–5 years (depending on current skill level)
Ongoing exposure to real workshop work and mentorship
Join a business with a proven history of qualifying and developing mechanics
Long-term growth potential within an expanding group

Job Types: Full-time, Internship

Pay: R9 500,00 - R19 500,00 per month

Motor Mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
