Gauteng, Heidelberg

To assist the Eskort Heidelberg processing plant with admin, finance and accounting functions.

Qualifications:
Matric
Certificate or degree in finance would be beneficial

Experience:
5 years experience

Knowledge required:
Finance, accounting and administrative skills required

Skills Required:
Finance, accounting and administrative skills required

Key Responsibilities:

Based at Heidelberg Plant
Ensuring company policies, procedures are followed
Managing of three staff members
Creditors management:
- Management of staff members to ensure that the company’s internal controls in terms of invoice capturing within the set deadlines are adhered to
Various important finance reconciliations which will assist both operations and the finance department and reconciliations between the ERP system and financial reporting system
Posting journals on SAGE Evolution to ensure accurate and complete financial records
Reviewing staff recons and approving payments on internet banking system
Assisting with year end auditors questions applicable to the position
Various other administrative functions as required by finance staff or the Processing Director of the factory

Skills required:

Attention to detail is important
Strong analytical-, financial- and accounting skills
Proficient in Excel
SAGE Evolution and Meat Matrix ERP system knowledge would be beneficial
Industry experience within Eskort’s ambient would be beneficial
Deadline driven
Strong personality and the ability to effectively communicate to ensure that company policies and controls in terms of finance are adhered to
