Full Job Description

Proactive Mining and Supply is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector (QC) to join our team. The successful candidate must have a strong quality control background within a manufacturing, engineering, or fabrication environment and be committed to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality Control position within a similar industry.
Proficient in the use of measuring equipment and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to accurately read and interpret measurements and technical drawings.
Experience in completing and maintaining Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and related quality documentation.
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
Ability to identify and report defects and non-conformances.
Experience conducting visual inspections on manufactured components and finished products.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components.
Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Complete and maintain QCP forms and inspection records accurately.
Identify, document, and report quality defects and non-conformances.
Ensure measuring equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition.
Work closely with production teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance processes.
