About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager to join our leadership team at a premium hospitality property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the guests, staff, and assets across the hotel and resort operations. This is a critical hands-on leadership role that demands a strong presence, excellent judgement, and deep sector-specific expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security strategies tailored to the hospitality environment.
- Lead all aspects of security operations, including access control, crowd management, incident response, and emergency procedures.
- Oversee Health & Safety compliance, ensuring full adherence to local regulations, occupational health standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage a large-scale CCTV operation – including system performance, footage review, operator management, and integration with security protocols.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security breaches, guest incidents, theft, and any health & safety-related matters.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the security team, including security officers, supervisors, and CCTV operators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and private security partners.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and training programs for all hotel staff on security awareness and emergency response.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management on security performance, incidents, and improvement recommendations.Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of senior security management experience, with at least 3 years in the hospitality sector (hotels, resorts, or large entertainment venues).

- Proven experience managing Health & Safety programs in a hospitality environment.
- Strong investigative skills with a track record of successful case resolution.
- Demonstrated experience managing a large CCTV operation (multi-site or high-volume camera systems).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PSIRA Grade A, Health & Safety Management, CCTV Management, Investigation Techniques) are required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Computer literate with experience in security management systems and reporting tools.
