FLOOR MANAGER – OU MEUL PINELANDS
Location: Pinelands, Cape Town
Position: Full-Time Floor Manager
Ou Meul Pinelands is looking for an experienced and energetic Floor Manager to join our team.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume coffee shop and restaurant serving hundreds of guests daily. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure and can lead a team of approximately 40 staff members while delivering exceptional customer service.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a busy café, coffee shop or restaurant.
- Proven experience managing teams of 30–40 employees.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with staff scheduling, stock control and daily restaurant operations.
- Must be reliable, well-presented and passionate about hospitality.
- Own transport and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the front-of-house team.
- Ensure exceptional guest service at all times.
- Manage daily floor operations and service flow.
- Monitor staff performance and maintain company standards.
- Handle customer complaints professionally.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management team to achieve sales and operational targets.
