The Partnership Development Consultant is an external “hunter” who may work across any streams (corporate, government, grant, individual) to generate new funding for the organisation. He/ she is contracted for 12 months with clear revenue targets and bear higher incentive weight relative to base.
Strategic Partnerships & Revenue Mobilization:

Identify, cultivate, and close new prospective donors / funding relationships in any stream.

Work autonomously to build pipeline, research, prospect meetings, proposals, closing.

Coordinate with internal staff as needed (program, finance, communications).

Comply with CRM rules, update pipeline weekly, forecast revenue.

Adhere to the organisation’s brand, compliance, and donor stewardship practices.

Prepare reports / updates to Head of Fundraising on progress, challenges, pipeline.

Very important: any donors solicited is done on behalf of Afrika Tikkun, not the individual consultant.
KPIs / Targets:

Annual revenue target: R 5,000,000 per consultant

Number of new donors / projects secured, proposals submitted, conversion rate.

Pipeline growth metrics, forecast accuracy.
Qualification and Experience:

Matric (Grade 12).
-
5+ years’ experience in fundraising / business development, preferably in NPO / social impact.

Proven track record of closing million rand plus deals or major donors.
Required Skills:

Highly self-driven, results-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.

Ability to manage own time, priorities, and travel as needed.

Strong communication (written, verbal), proposal development skills.
