Kawari is looking for a QA Supervisor to aid in ensuring the movement of stock throughout the warehouse and resolve any issues that may arise. Support the warehouse supervisors in ensuring compliance with policies and procedures according to written SOP’s. The incumbent will be required to identify, analyse and address gaps in inventory processes and communicate with internal stakeholders.
The primary purpose of the job is:
Quality Assurance supervisor
- Ensure that all your daily functions and operations comply to Kawari Wholesaler Midrand’s Written Sops, Good Warehousing and Distribution Practices, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations And Kawari Wholesaler Midrand’s Quality Management System.
- Adherence to good housekeeping practises
- Constant communication between different departments in the warehouse to ensure alignment of requirements and processes.
- Constant communication between warehouse staff to address expectations, requirements, and compliance.
- Ensure accurate checking of orders (scanning or via [product description, pack size, unit], batch number, expiry date and quantity)
- Updating and generation of invoices and box labels
- Ensure packing of orders into appropriate shippers with the correct stickers as per SOP
- Prioritise the checking and packing of back-orders and urgent orders
- Proper stock handling to eliminate damages and report any such damages immediately to the outbound warehouse manager.
- Investigate and accurately report on errors and service failures
- Participate in annual stock take and ad-hoc cycle counts.
- Perform other related duties as directed.
Operational Management:
- Supervising of staff- QA administrators and packers.
- Following the Poor Performance Policy with QA Administrators for persistent inefficient output.
- Arrange overtime when needed.
- Initiating and completing probation assessments with new QA Administrators and packers.
- ESS maintenance – ensuring all leave and overtime is captured on time.
- ECO Time maintenance – fixing of errors.Daily report back on any delays and tasks at second stage by COB
- Random QA checks on orders to assist in minimizing errors – weekly report back
Customer Service
- Attend to customer requirements and their inquiries, and keep them informed as required
- Maintain good collaboration with colleagues and management (internal customers)
- Perform root cause investigations and open the necessary CAPAs (Corrective Action, Preventative Action).
- Identify and escalate problems through relevant channels.
- Meet and exceed customer expectations.
Reporting
- Operational reporting regarding work in progress.
- ·imeous and accurate reporting within agreed timelines.
- Report on corrective actions taken as a result of identified deviations and service level failures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant
EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years’ experience within a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
- Basic pharmaceutical product knowledge
- Basic Computer skills
