Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the entire housekeeping department.
Supervise Housekeeping Managers, Supervisors, Cabin Stewards, Public Area teams, and Laundry staff.
Ensure guest cabins, suites, public areas, and crew areas meet luxury cleanliness standards.
Conduct inspections and quality audits throughout the ship.
Develop cleaning schedules and manage manpower planning.
Control housekeeping budgets, supplies, linen inventory, and operating costs.
Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and public health requirements.
Handle escalated guest complaints and service recovery.
Train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping personnel.
Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and Marine departments.
Prepare operational reports and maintain department performance standards.
Ensure emergency procedures and safety regulations are followed.

Requirements

5–10+ years of housekeeping experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or cruise ships.
Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Manager, or senior supervisor.
Strong leadership and large-team management experience.
Excellent knowledge of cleaning standards, sanitation procedures, and inventory control.
Experience working with luxury guest expectations.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to manage a multicultural team in a high-pressure environment.

Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
