Position Overview
We are seeking an energetic, professional, and highly organised Hospitality Operations & Events Coordinator to join our team.
This is a dynamic role that combines restaurant front-of-house operations, guest experience management, event and wedding coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences while assisting in the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy and well-established restaurant and events venue.
We are looking for a natural people person with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Wedding Coordination
- Manage event and wedding enquiries from initial contact through to completion.
- Conduct venue show-rounds and consultations with prospective clients.
- Prepare quotations, event proposals, and booking documentation.
- Coordinate event logistics and timelines with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Ensure all event details are accurately communicated and executed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients before and during events.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to grow event and wedding bookings.
Hospitality Operations & Guest Experience
- Support the management of front-of-house restaurant operations.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are always maintained.
- Assist with daily service coordination and floor supervision.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
- Assist with staff coordination and communication during service.
Administration
- Manage reservations, event bookings, and related correspondence.
- Maintain accurate client records and event files.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, guest relations, or front-of-house operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and email correspondence.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
