Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HVAC Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret schematics. This role involves supervising technical teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality service across construction and maintenance projects. The HVAC Supervisor will play a vital role in maintaining optimal climate control solutions for our clients while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
- Coordinate the safety risk management programme
- Control the execution of maintenance activities
- Conduct equipment repairs and troubleshoot complex issues related to air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and other HVAC equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or upgrades of HVAC systems on-site.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system performance for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair with a strong mechanical background.
- National Diploma in Electrical /Mechanical, Trade test in refrigeration, gas handling, Driver license, confined space 3 years experience
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience supervising technical teams, Effective communication, problem solving and critical thinking
- Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
- Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC system integration within building projects.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors.
