Full Job Description

Cleaning Duties

Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish office floors.
Dust furniture, desks, shelves, windowsills, and office equipment.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, toilets, basins, mirrors, and floors.
Clean kitchen and tea station areas, including sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, and appliances.
Empty waste bins and replace bin liners.
Dispose of waste according to company procedures.
Clean meeting rooms before and after meetings.
Wipe doors, light switches, handrails, and frequently touched surfaces.
Clean interior glass doors and windows where required.
Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper.

Stock Control

Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages.
Assist with stocktaking of cleaning materials.
Ensure cleaning equipment is clean and in good working condition.

General Support

Prepare refreshments for meetings when requested.
Keep reception and entrance areas neat and welcoming.
Perform deep cleaning according to the cleaning schedule.
Carry out any reasonable cleaning-related duties assigned by management.
Serve the team coffee, tea and water while working.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 10 or Grade 12 preferred.
Previous cleaning experience in an office, commercial, or corporate environment is advantageous.
Basic understanding of workplace hygiene practices.
Ability to read and understand basic cleaning instructions.
Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods.
