Construction Estimator / Tender & RFQ Coordinator

Location: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal

VAD Group is an expanding construction and property development company involved in residential, commercial, institutional, and community projects throughout KwaZulu-Natal. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator / Tender & RFQ Coordinator to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career within a progressive company and become an important part of our future success.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare quotations, estimates, and tender submissions.
Review drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare RFQs and follow up on pricing.
Compile tender documentation and supporting information.
Assist with project costing and budget preparation.
Maintain tender registers and project records.
Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and clients.
Provide administrative support to the estimating and construction teams.

Requirements:

Experience in construction estimating, tendering, or quantity surveying.
Knowledge of construction materials and pricing.
Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Previous construction industry experience will be advantageous.
