Race Coast is seeking an Editor who will edit, finalise, and publish broadcast and online content for Gallop TV, including studio shows, inserts, graphics, and digital uploads. The successful candidate will ensure high-output, high-quality post-production delivery for both TV and YouTube audiences.

What You'll Do
Selection Show Graphic Slide Creation
Tasks:
- Design and prepare daily graphic slides for Gallop TV Selection Shows.
- Liaise with presenters and producers to ensure form accuracy and data integrity.
- Format visuals in line with Gallop TV's branding and editorial tone.’
KPIs:
- 100% of selection shows contain correct, branded graphics.
- Zero graphics-related show delays or errors monthly.
- Slides for next-day shows submitted by 16:00 daily.
Inserts and Feature Editing
Tasks:
- Edit race previews, highlights, interviews, and promotional videos.
- Collaborate with producers and commentators on insert structure and scripting.
- Ensure exports meet channel format and editorial guidelines.
KPIs:
- Minimum 1 insert edited per week.
- All inserts delivered on time for scheduled broadcast.
- No more than 1 revision per insert due to editor oversight.
Studio Show Post-Production
Tasks:
- Edit and finalise up to 64 studio shows monthly including Selection Shows and Analysis.
- Sync audio, clean cuts, apply graphics and titles before master delivery.
- Ensure backups and file naming follow archive protocols.
KPIs:
- 100% of studio shows delivered within 24 hours post-recording.
- Zero broadcast failures caused by file naming, sync, or formatting issues.
- Monthly delivery of 60+ shows with less than 5% needing rework.
YouTube Content Authoring
Tasks:
- Upload finished shows and inserts to Gallop TV's YouTube channel.
- Write compelling titles, descriptions, and apply relevant thumbnails.
- Create and maintain show playlists, tags, and metadata for discoverability.
KPIs:
- 100% of eligible content uploaded within 2 hours of finalisation.
- All metadata and thumbnails align with internal standards.
- Monthly YouTube publishing error rate below 2%.
What You’ll Need
· Diploma in Video Editing, Motion Design, or Broadcast Production.
· Minimum 2 years in high-volume editing and digital publishing environment.
What We’re Looking For:
· Post-Production Mastery: Skilled in editing multi-layered timelines, synchronising audio, and using graphics templates efficiently.
· Workflow Management: Able to manage a high-volume content pipeline, prioritise editing queues, and deliver shows under tight turnaround.
· Platform-Specific Publishing: Understands content requirements for YouTube and other platforms including encoding, metadata, and branding.
