This opportunity is ideally suited to a hands-on operational leader with extensive contract catering experience, preferably gained within a healthcare or hospital environment, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a highly regulated setting. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage all catering operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Drive client satisfaction through proactive stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, healthcare protocols, and legislative requirements.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
Develop, coach, and mentor catering teams to achieve operational excellence.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction across operations.
Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and succession planning.
Conduct regular site audits and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Catering Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' management experience within contract catering.
Previous healthcare or hospital catering experience will be advantageous.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, food costs, and site profitability.
Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and healthcare compliance requirements.
Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple departments. Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
