Full Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for motivated, confident, and target-driven Debt Collection Agents to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and assisting clients in resolving their debt obligations professionally and respectfully.

Key Responsibilities

Contact customers via telephone to discuss outstanding accounts.
Negotiate suitable payment arrangements and settlements.
Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain consistent communication with clients.
Accurately capture and update customer information on the system.
Meet and exceed collection targets and performance objectives.
Maintain professionalism and comply with company policies and relevant legislation.
Handle customer queries and disputes efficiently.
Keep detailed records of all interactions and payment commitments.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
Previous debt collection, call centre, customer service, sales, or collections experience will be advantageous.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy and ability to work with collection systems.
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
