We are looking for Vertical Industries Representatives (DBN/JHB/CPT/PLZ) to focus on managing and developing strong relationships with existing key customers as well as acquiring new key customers within the respective vertical on a global level. The success of the role is driven by the promotion of tailored solution-oriented services and by a complex external and internal stakeholder management.

Own and grow a portfolio of strategic customers, while actively hunting for new business opportunities in priority industry verticals.

Turn complex customer supply chain challenges into smart, tailored logistics solutions across airfreight, seafreight, road freight, warehousing and value-added services.

Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and become a strategic partner who understands their business, market pressures and growth ambitions.

Work closely with local, regional and global teams to unlock opportunities, deliver customer-focused solutions and strengthen Hellmann’s presence in the market.

Drive commercial growth through strong pipeline management, strategic account planning, customer reviews, tenders and confident contract negotiations.
We are looking for someone who brings both commercial drive and relationship intelligence. You should be someone who enjoys the challenge of complex sales, understands the importance of trust, and knows how to turn conversations into meaningful business opportunities.
You will be a great fit if you have:

Strong experience in strategic sales, business development or key account management.

Experience managing complex customers and multiple stakeholders.

A solid understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain solutions and industry trends.

The ability to identify customer needs and translate them into tailored, solution-oriented services.

Strong commercial acumen, with an understanding of pricing, profitability, margin and sustainable growth.

Excellent negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building ability.

Confidence working with sales targets, CRM systems, customer data, pipelines and KPIs.

Good planning, organisational, time management and problem-solving skills.

Experience with tenders, proposals, contract negotiations and customer business reviews.

The ability to work across internal teams and global/regional stakeholders to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
