Full Job Description

This job role is responsible for designing and implementing software application architectures that align with business objectives and technical requirements

Primary duties and responsibilities shall include, but not limited to:

Solution Design, Innovation and Continuous Improvement

Identify, evaluate, and scope opportunities for process improvements, innovation, automation, and enhanced business intelligence solutions.
Design and develop fit-for-purpose software applications and analytics solutions that support business objectives and operational efficiency.
Continuously review and improve processes, systems, and methodologies to ensure the efficient delivery of software and analytics solutions.
Recommend and implement technology enhancements that improve business performance and user experience.

Project Delivery and Stakeholder Management

Deliver client-specific and company-wide software development and analytics projects in accordance with company standards, project requirements, and agreed timelines.
Ensure projects remain on track, within scope, and aligned with approved business requirements.
Communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and issues to stakeholders and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with line management and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Conduct extensive testing of new software applications, system enhancements, reports, and analytics solutions prior to deployment.
Perform regular testing and validation of existing applications and business intelligence solutions to ensure continued quality, reliability, and accuracy.
Establish and maintain quality control processes for all reporting and analytics outputs.
Validate and cross-check data and reports against multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and minimal customer impact.

Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analytics

Develop, maintain, automate, and deliver static and recurring reports within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data used in reporting and analytics.
Provide actionable insights, trend analysis, and recommendations derived from dashboards, reports, and data analysis to support business improvement initiatives.

Application Support, Change and Incident Management

Maintain, monitor, and upgrade existing software applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software application errors, defects, and performance issues.
Manage change control processes, incident management, and error resolution activities affecting software applications and analytics platforms.
Investigate root causes of incidents and implement corrective and preventative measures to improve system stability and business continuity.
Ensure all application changes are appropriately tested, documented, approved, and implemented in accordance with company standards.

Documentation and Governance

Maintain comprehensive documentation of software development activities, technical specifications, testing results, system enhancements, change requests, and issue resolutions.
Ensure all development, reporting, and analytics processes are properly documented and compliant with organisational standards and governance requirements.

Education requirements :

Degree/ Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

Experience :

3-5 years' experience in the below:

Programming & SQL Development Application Development & SQL Database Administration Software Engineering,
SQL Development & Database Administration C# Software Development & Advanced SQL Programming Systems Development, SQL Programming & DBA Support Enterprise

Solutions Backend Development & SQL Server Administration.
C# Programming SQL Programming & Database Management Database Administration (DBA)
Power Automate Development ERP System
Support Software Troubleshooting & Debugging System Integration Report
Development & Data Analysis
Software Development & SQL Database Management Full-Stack
Windows Server Support
IT Support & Technical Assistance Backup & Recovery Management
Network & System Support Application Support & Maintenance (Advantageous)
