To work closely with the Company’s senior leaders in order to develop an HR agenda that closely supports the overall aim/s of the Company. The HRBP is fully dedicated to their internal clients, their needs, and their duties. The HRBP helps to develop and implement better people management practices and shares the responsibility for the goals and targets.
Qualifications and Experience:
- B Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Industrial Psychology qualification
- At least 5 years HR Consulting experience
- Experience in working with SLA’s and deployed services environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as single point of contact and entry for employees and managers in the business unit (for HR/Training)
- Organization development:
- Leadership development initiatives, Franchisor/enterprise initiatives, strategy, and goal setting – facilitating required sessions/meetings or planning and executing specific project plans and delivery when and where required
- Resourcing and Talent Management/Planning:
- Capacity Planning, Recruitment, Succession/ Bench planning, Development programs – actively analyze and manage capacity requirements for region/area/stores and ensuring that all positions are at all times properly manned or proper succession pipeline available. Involved in all recruitment of Team Members
- Learning and Development:
- Skills training, Functional training, Management training – Overseeing the training delivery within Region/Area/Store environment in conjunction with the Training Department. Facilitates Orientation process with new employees.
- Performance and reward:
- Performance management process, reward /increase processes, incentive and bonus systems – actively drive and participate in the performance management process by ensuring consistency from a process execution point of view, advise on performance related issues and problems, align and drive annual increase process and advise operations on incentives and bonus systems and impact
- Employee engagement:
- Surveys, action planning – Actively position/drive and facilitate the execution of all relevant surveys and employee engagement programs, results analyzed, and action plans implemented to drive specific identified issues
- Employee Relations:
- Assist IR consultant with all IR cases up to CCMA level, Implementation and running of EE forums and OHS forums
- Service delivery and information:
- Driving agreed delivery of People Management services according to agreed SLA’s with Operations and producing required HR/Training reports, providing ad-hoc info requests, and analyzing all HR/Training related MIS for trend identification and actioning
- Forms part of senior HR/Training department leadership team and represents department on various forums and meetings within business as defined by mandate
- Payroll Support and Administration:
- Oversees and owns delivery and execution of HR/Training processes:
- Organization design:
- Role profiling and updating of all positions within Company or area of responsibility, and structural design ensuring that all Org structures are correct and up to date for area of responsibility, analyzing and advising on requests for complement adjustments and/or requirements
- Acts as single-entry point into payroll department for all payroll related instructions and queries from stores or Payroll Administrator
- Obtains all period HR instructions from stores (leave applications, new appointments, terminations, bank detail changes, personal changes, promotions, transfers, acting and relief), consolidate, check for completeness/correctness and applies policy provisions and authorize per mandate or system required, before processing
- Manages zero hours and managers less than 180 hours report, investigation and recovery process
Pay: R35 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
