We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, developing strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and delivering value through cost-effective purchasing practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement and sourcing strategies.
Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, from requisition to contract award.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value.
Prepare and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documentation.
Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legislation, and governance requirements.
Analyse procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain supplier relationships and resolve procurement-related issues.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
Prepare procurement reports and present recommendations to management.
Support contract management and supplier risk management initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related qualification.
Minimum 7 years' experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
Sound knowledge of procurement legislation, policies, and best practices.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
