Full Job Description

Monthly Manufacturing planning.
Plan work for the seam welder and plasma teams using targets lists and current unit positions.
Retrieve and update nesting records from both nightshift and dayshift plasma operations.
Write and hand over KPI reports for nightshift plasma and seam welders.
Conduct daily factory walk-throughs to track the position of all units across the manufacturing line.
Update the planning spreadsheet following each walk-through.
Submit kit requests to stores. based on walk-through findings.
Update the summary spreadsheet and maintain the targets list spreadsheet as the primary source of truth.
Update and distribute the line stopper list on a daily basis.
Maintain the KPI spreadsheet covering line stoppers and breakdowns.
Escalate breakdowns and parts shortages to the appropriate stakeholders promptly.
Open internal jobs when orders arrive for small part and liaise with customers throughout the process until the job is ready for collection.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in a production planning or manufacturing coordination role.
Proficiency in SYSPRO.
Proficiency in spreadsheet software MS Excel, Word and Outlook for planning, KPI tracking, and reporting.
Engineering background will be beneficial.
Strong mathematical skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for cross-departmental coordination and customer liaison.
Ability to work under time pressure and meet daily deadlines.
Familiarity with Nesting and Plasma.
Solid understanding of WIP and the issuing to job cards.
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately

Pay: R20 000,00 - R30 000,00 per month
