Beatbot Australia is the exclusive Australian distributor of Beatbot AI robotic pool cleaners (www.beatbotaustralia.com.au) - premium smart pool technology priced from $999 to $4,899, sold direct-to-consumer online. For the 2026/27 Australian summer season we're running a $400K paid media programme across Meta and Google with a clear unit sales target.
This role starts part-time - minimum 10-15 hours per week - but it is explicitly built to scale. If cost-per-sale holds and the programme performs, spend increases. At full upside it could reach 25-30 hours per week during peak months (November through January), with compensation scaling proportionally. We're not looking for someone to fill a fixed part-time brief. We're looking for someone who wants the upside when the numbers justify it.
What you'll be doing:
- Daily spend pacing checks across Meta and Google - at peak, 45-60 minutes every single day.
- You flag issues before they compound, with a proposed fix ready.
- Building all campaigns, ad sets, and structures to specification. You don't ship messy structure hoping the algorithm compensates.
- Uploading creative from our Creative Producer and rotating it proactively - new assets live within 24 hours of handoff, fatigued ads retired before they cost budget.
- Managing A/B tests - setup, monitoring, and clear results summaries: what was tested, what won, by how much, what you recommend next.
- Weekly Meta, Google, and Shopify data pull compiled and presented before the Strategist's weekly review. Every week without fail.
The hours:
- Aug pre-season: 10-15 hrs/week - platform setup, campaign structure, no live spend yet
- Sep-Oct ramp: 10-15 hrs/week - campaigns live, daily pacing, weekly reporting
- Nov-Jan peak (base): 15-20 hrs/week
- Nov-Jan peak (upside): 25-30 hrs/week if spend scales
- Feb-May wind-down: 10-15 hrs/week
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years managing Meta, TikTok and Google campaigns hands-on, including at least 2 years at $20K+/month Meta spend on a single account
- You catch pacing issues before they compound - you flag early, have a fix ready, and know what's yours to decide vs what needs to go up
- You can pull a week of Meta, Google, and Shopify data and produce a summary a non-technical stakeholder can act on - concisely, correctly, on time
- You know the difference between creative fatigue and audience saturation, and you handle audience issues without being directed to
- Genuinely self-managing on async remote work, with real availability for a 2-3 hour AEST overlap window daily during peak months
- You want the upside that comes with a scalable role - not just the security of fixed hours
Bonus Points:
- Experience reconciling media attribution against Shopify orders - you know media platform overcounts and how to calculate true cost-per-sale
- Worked alongside a strategist rather than as sole decision-maker - you execute within a structure without needing micromanagement
- DTC ecommerce experience with a considered or premium-priced product The details
- Start date: 1 August 2026
- Contract: August 2026 - May 2027, renewal expected if the programme performs
- Location: Remote - South Africa. Cape Town or Johannesburg.
- Pay: Competitive rates
- Overlap: 2-3 hrs daily availability during Australian Eastern business hours. Daily availability essential during peak months.
The Hiring Test - Shortlisted candidates will complete two practical tests before final interview:
- Data test: You'll receive an anonymised Meta weekly performance summary and have 48 hours to return what you'd do differently next week, which creative you'd retire and why, and what you'd flag to the Strategist vs handle yourself.
- Pacing scenario: It's Monday. $55K is budgeted for the month. After 10 days you've spent $28K. Walk through your thinking.
How to apply:
- Email [email protected] with:
- A brief summary of the highest-spend Meta account you've managed solo - monthly budget, product category, how long you managed it, key performance metric
- One example of a pacing or performance issue you caught early, what you did, and the outcome
- Your current availability and capacity to scale to 25-30 hrs/week if the programme grows into it
Pay: R14 203,90 - R50 571,92 per month
Work Location: Remote
