About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support the senior accounting team in ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT preparation and submissions.
- Prepare and process journal entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial procedures.
- Support payroll processing when required.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years' accounting experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or Pastel).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: R9 269,54 - R26 304,20 per month
