Full Job Description

The Returns Clerk is responsible for processing and managing product returns efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining communication with customer service agents and internal departments. This includes receiving returned goods, inspecting their condition, and coordinating resolutions such as exchanges, refunds, or repairs. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience with inventory management systems, and the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and process returned merchandise from customers, retailers, couriers, and drivers.

· Inspect returned items for quality, damage, or defects and document findings.

· Fully record all return information to assist the debtors department with credit processing.

· Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and quality control teams to resolve return issues.

· Transfer all products to their final location and ensure physical stock movement is recorded.

· Ensure faulty or damaged stock is properly checked, packed, and shipped to CPT.

· Monitor and follow up on the repair process, logging outcomes on the system.

· Ensure the warehouse is cleared of all stock in SAP daily.

· Communicate with customers regarding return status and resolutions.

· Ensure compliance with company return policies and procedures.

· Capture information accurately and promptly on company systems.

· Follow up on collections twice weekly.

· Inform management of potential issues or concerns.

· Collaborate with CSR and other departments for solutions to product issues and complaints

· Perform any reasonable request from management.

Pay: Up to R8 500,00 per month
