Could you be the New Site Accountant in Boksburg we’re looking for? This is a contract position with the potential to become permanent.
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial expertise in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and results-driven team.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance with statutory regulations while driving continuous improvement in financial processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Tax, Treasury, and Regional Management), oversee financial reporting, and ensure robust internal controls, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of coordinating the monthly closing process and managing reconciliations, but also supporting audits and preparing financial information for tenders.
We’ll look to you for:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining best practice policies and procedures to ensure strong financial control.
Monitoring and reviewing balance sheets for multiple entities on a monthly basis.
Providing accurate cash forecasts and managing bank accounts for multiple legal entities.
Coordinating internal and external audit requirements and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
Championing internal control and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and statutory regulations.
Preparing VAT returns and assisting with corporate income tax submissions.
Supporting the Business Development team in preparing financial information for tenders.
Driving financial awareness and improvements across the business.

A CIMA or CA(SA) qualification.
Experience or understanding of financial accounting, management control, and statutory reporting.
Knowledge of tax-related matters and financial compliance.
Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
A proven track record in improving financial procedures and controls.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and persuade stakeholders.
Self-motivation with a drive for continuous improvement and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational, project management, and decision-making skills.
