BUILDING MANAGER – JOB VACANCY

Start Date: ASAPRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Building Manager at TEE Properties (PTY) LTD in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the buildings, including managing maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing budgets and expenses.Job Responsibilities:

Follow up on daily maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other essential property upkeep.
Assist tenants with immediate queries related to the building and implement remedial actions as necessary.
Prevent damage and vandalism to the property.
Ensure the property is maintained in a clean and orderly condition, with noise levels kept to a minimum.
Conduct Exit and Entry inspections for tenants.
Facilitate property viewings for prospective tenants.
Monitor for overcrowding, illegal occupation or subletting, tenant absconding, and ensure tenants adhere to property rules.
Handle meter readings and address all related tenant queries.
Supervise general workers and security personnel.
Follow up on security checkpoint reports and address any issues raised.
Conduct monthly property inspections, documenting damages and necessary repairs.
Maintain regular communication with property owners, their representatives, or property management to provide updates on property condition and ongoing projects.

Candidate Requirements

Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
Clean criminal and credit record.
Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Computer literate.
Professional, presentable, and well-organized.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in rental property management as a Building Manager.

Pay: R935 000,00 - R1 295 000,00 per year
