Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, ZA
Employment Type: Full-time

About Us
We are a dynamic e-commerce and retail operations team based in Johannesburg. We manage seamless post-office processes, returns workflows, and customer experience end-to-end. We value efficiency, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The Role

Oversee daily post office operations and returns processing to ensure timely and accurate handling of mail, packages, and refunds.
Coordinate parcel pickups, tracking, and delivery confirmations with couriers.
Manage returns intake, reverse logistics, and restocking decisions in collaboration with the warehouse and post office Manager.
Update and maintain order status in the ERP/WMS and e-commerce platforms; communicate updates to customers as needed.
Investigate and resolve post-sale issues (lost shipments, damaged goods, return disputes) with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Generate reports on return rates, processing times, and carrier performance; identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, Customer Support, and Warehouse teams to streamline processes and reduce friction.
Maintain accurate documentation, compliance with company policies, and adherence to local regulations.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in post office operations, returns, or logistics coordination; retail/e-commerce experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy; proficient with MS Excel/Sheets and basic SQL or ERP/WMS systems.
Familiarity with courier carriers and tracking systems; knowledge of international shipping is a plus.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
South African residency and legal right to work in South Africa.

Preferred

Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or local equivalents) and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
Knowledge of reverse logistics, warranty processing, and refund workflow.
Basic data analytics skills; experience in generating reports and dashboards.
