Full Job Description

A Law firm in Pretoria CBD have a vacant position for Litigation Typist:

Incumbents will perform legal typing and difficult clerical work that may involve performing related office work required in preparing and processing a variety of legal documents.

Responsibilities:

Drafting of Sect 129's, Notices, Affidavits, Summonses and Default Judgement
Liaise with banks and debtors
Ability to liaise with the sheriff offices and other role player
Report on various systems as per requirement of client
Accounting - passing fees, preparing payment-sheets for client, uploading invoices on client systems
Ability to diarise matters and update matters according to diary system

Skills Required:

Experience in Magistrate court/High court litigation
Ability to perform well under immense pressure
Ability to adhere to very strict turnaround times
Strong communications skills
Administratively strong - must be accurate in work

Must have the following:

Must have experience in diary management
Microsoft Office Proficiency
Court on line

Qualification/s:

Matric
Legal secretary qualification advantage
Minimum 3 years experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R8 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month

Experience:

Foreclosure: 5 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
