Lead the strategic planning and framework design of the AIM department, and develop AIM policies, procedures and performance standards to API, ASME and ISO best practice.

Design workflows for inspection, maintenance, risk-based assessment and lifecycle asset management, and select/implement AIM software and inspection data-management systems.

Provide technical leadership in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) studies, FMEA, Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) and Process Safety Management (PHA / HAZOP / SIL).

Lead integrity assessments and remaining-life calculations; develop corrosion-management strategies and integrity operating windows (IOWs) for static and pressurised equipment.

Establish condition monitoring and inspection data-management programmes to support continuous asset reliability.

Support the company’s activities as an Approved Inspection Authority (AIA) — pressure-equipment inspection under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Pressure Equipment Regulations.

Champion digital transformation in asset integrity — predictive analytics, digital twins and autonomous / remote inspection technologies.

Drive business development — proposals, client engagement and new service offerings, converting the pipeline for RBI, integrity-assessment and corrosion-evaluation projects.
BEng / BSc in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgical, Chemical or a related engineering discipline (Master’s an advantage).
5–8 years in asset integrity, inspection engineering or reliability engineering.
Strong knowledge of AIM standards and frameworks — API 580 / 581, ISO 55000 and ASME codes.
Proven experience designing or leading AIM systems or departments.
Familiarity with asset-integrity software (Meridium, RBLX, SAP PM or equivalent).
Sector experience in power, oil & gas, energy, petrochemical or heavy-industry environments.
Strong business acumen with client-facing / proposal-development experience — you can build the practice commercially, not only technically.
