Full Job Description

Senior Draughtsman / CNC Programmer – Engineering & Machining

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Draughtsman / CNC Programmer to join our engineering and manufacturing team. The successful candidate will combine strong machining experience with advanced CAD/CAM, CNC programming, and ISO-compliant drawing skills.

Minimum Requirements

8+ years’ experience in engineering machining.
Minimum 3 years’ draughting experience in a machining/manufacturing environment.
Solid shop-floor machining experience with practical understanding of how components are manufactured.
Technical Skills & Experience
Experience with Zeiss CMM machines using Zeiss Calypso software (advantageous).
Advanced experience in SolidWorks CAD/CAM.
Preference for candidates holding SolidWorks Certification (Associate / Professional / Expert).
Certification proof must be submitted with the application.
Strong understanding of CNC programming for:
Milling
Turning
Boring
Knowledge of tooling systems for various machining operations.
Strong understanding of ISO drawing standards and ISO requirements for machining and part definition.

Key Competencies

High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and practical manufacturing mindset.
Ability to work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams.
Able to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions.
