The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising security personnel, maintaining operational standards, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and maintaining a professional security service at all times.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

Minimum Grade B PSIRA registration
Valid Firearm Competency
Valid Code B Driver’s Licence
Previous experience as a Security Supervisor
Strong leadership and personnel-management abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good report-writing and incident-reporting skills
Computer literate
Able to manage security officers and enforce company procedures
Reliable, disciplined and professional
Able to work shifts and perform effectively under pressure

Key Responsibilities

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for:

Supervisvising and managing security officers
Conducting site inspections and ensuring proper deployment
Ensuring officers comply with company and client procedures
Managing attendance, shift changes and operational requirements
Conducting parade and equipment inspections
Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
Completing occurrence, incident and operational reports
Reporting security risks and operational problems to management
Maintaining discipline and professional standards
Liaising professionally with clients, management and security personnel
