Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Rigger Facilitator to join our training team. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating theoretical and practical training in rigging, ensuring that learners gain the necessary skills and knowledge in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and present rigging training programmes to learners.
- Conduct both theoretical and practical training sessions.
- Assess learner competence in line with relevant unit standards and training requirements.
- Ensure training complies with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate learner records, attendance registers, and assessment documentation.
- Prepare training materials and practical demonstrations.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to learners during the training process.
- Ensure all equipment used for training is safe and maintained.
- Participate in moderation and quality assurance processes when required.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Rigger qualification / Trade Certificate (Rigger).
- Assessor and/or Moderator certification (advantageous).
- Facilitator/Training qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ practical rigging experience in industry.
- Previous training or facilitation experience will be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with learners from diverse backgrounds.
