JOB MISSION Glenmark is looking for a highly motivated, confident, and results-driven Sales Representative to join our field sales team. The role is focused on a "greenfields" sales strategy, identifying and acquiring new accounts to expand the presence of Glenmark's skincare portfolio within Sorbet stores. The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth through new account acquisition, product education, in-store training, merchandising, stock management, and strong relationships with store teams. This is a highly mobile, field-based role requiring an individual who is comfortable travelling between stores, engaging confidently with customers and retail staff, and taking ownership of their territory and sales performance. Top performers will: Identify and convert new business opportunities Build strong relationships with Sorbet store teams and key stakeholders Confidently present and educate teams on Glenmark products Drive product awareness and sales within assigned stores Ensure strong in-store execution, merchandising, and product availability Proactively identify opportunities to grow the brand's footprint MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES New Business Development & Sales Identify and pursue new account opportunities to expand the Glenmark skincare portfolio Build relationships with prospective and existing Sorbet stores Drive sales and achieve agreed sales and performance targets Present products confidently and communicate key product benefits and selling points Identify opportunities to increase product distribution and sales within the assigned territory Product Training & Education Deliver product training and education to Sorbet store teams Develop strong product knowledge and confidently communicate product features and benefits Support store staff in understanding how to recommend and sell Glenmark products to consumers Attend and participate in product and operational training provided by Glenmark Stock Management Monitor product availability and stock levels across assigned stores Identify out-of-stock and low-stock situations and escalate or address these proactively Ensure products are appropriately presented and available for purchase Provide feedback on stock availability and sales opportunities Merchandising & In-Store Execution Ensure Glenmark products are correctly positioned and merchandised within stores Maintain high standards of brand visibility and product presentation Implement agreed merchandising activities and promotional initiatives Monitor competitor activity and provide relevant market feedback Relationship Management Build credible and professional relationships with store managers and staff Act as a trusted Glenmark brand representative within assigned stores Provide ongoing support and motivation to store teams to drive product performance Maintain a professional and positive brand image at all times Field Reporting & Administration Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting accurately and on time Track store visits, sales activity, training conducted, stock levels, merchandising, and KPI achievement Provide regular feedback on market conditions, competitor activity, customer insights, and growth opportunities Effectively plan and manage daily travel and store schedules within the assigned territory WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Successful Glenmark Sales Representatives will: ? REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS We are looking for individuals who are: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within retail, beauty, skincare, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or FMCG Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities Confident, well-spoken, and comfortable engaging with customers and retail teams Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Target-driven, self-motivated, and commercially minded Able to work independently and take ownership of an assigned territory Strong organisational and time-management skills Comfortable working in a highly mobile, field-based environment Valid driver's licence – essential Own reliable vehicle – essential Willing and able to travel extensively within the assigned region Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet or own device for reporting and communication Proficient in basic digital tools and reporting platforms KEY PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES The ideal candidate is: Confident – Comfortable approaching new accounts and engaging with different stakeholders.
