Full Job Description

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious HVAC Technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The successful candidates will ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards, client requirements, and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Conduct inspections and testing to ensure optimal system performance.
Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
Install and commission new HVAC equipment.
Complete job cards, maintenance reports, and inspection documentation accurately.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company procedures.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Provide technical support and recommendations to clients where required.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric).
Trade Test Certificate as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (Red Seal preferred).
Refrigerant Handling Certificate (advantageous).
Valid driver's licence (Code B).
Minimum 3–5 years' experience as an HVAC Technician in commercial, industrial, mining, or power generation environments.
Experience with installation, maintenance, and fault finding on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
