Summary
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and energetic Petrol Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, safely dispensing fuel, maintaining a clean forecourt, and assisting customers with basic vehicle-related services.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense fuel accurately and safely into customer vehicles.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
- Process cash, card, and other payment transactions where required.
- Check vehicle oil, water, tyre pressure, and other basic vehicle maintenance items upon customer request.
- Keep the forecourt, fuel pumps, and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Report equipment faults, fuel spills, or safety hazards immediately.
- Promote company products, services, and loyalty programmes.
- Assist with stock replenishment and general housekeeping duties as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) preferred.
- Previous experience as a Petrol Attendant or in a customer service role will be advantageous.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Basic numeracy and cash-handling skills.
